US President Donald Trump denounced NBC and ABC as "two of the worst, most biased networks in history" and added that he would support the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) revoking the licenses of the two television stations.
The networks "give me 97 percent bad news," Trump said in a post on Truth Social on Sunday. "Despite high approval ratings, according to many, this has been one of the greatest eight months in presidential history."
"If that's the case, they're just a branch of the Democratic Party, and according to many people, they should have their license revoked by the FCC," he added. "I am all for this because they are so biased, so dishonest and a real threat to our democracy!!!"
The FCC issues licenses to television station owners, which must be renewed regularly.
