Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said on Tuesday that he hopes to announce news with Korean companies that will satisfy both the United States and South Korea when he visits South Korea this week. Nvidia said earlier that Huang plans to meet with global leaders and Korean company executives when attending the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation CEO Summit in South Korea.

"Samsung, SK, Hyundai, LG, Naver, if you look at the entire Korean ecosystem, every company is a good friend of mine and a very good partner," Huang told reporters on the sidelines of the Nvidia Developer Conference in Washington on Tuesday.
"So I hope that by the time I go, we'll have some very, very happy news to announce, but I'll hold it back for a few days," he said.
He said Nvidia was working with Samsung Electronics and Hyundai "in a variety of ways" and said the two companies "will invest in artificial intelligence factories."
U.S. President Trump will deliver a speech at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation CEO Summit in Gyeongju on Wednesday and meet with South Korean President Lee Jae-myung.
