ASRock, known as the "King of Monster Boards", once again showed off its amazing imagination and exhibited the new H610M Combo motherboard at CES.The biggest highlight of this motherboard is that it has two DDR4 and four DDR5 memory slots on the same Micro-ATX size board.
Affected by recent global memory market fluctuations and price fluctuations, DDR5 memory costs remain high. ASRock's move aims to provide the most flexible upgrade solution for old users.

This motherboard uses an LGA1700 slot and is compatible with Intel's 12th, 13th and 14th generation Core processors. Users can initially use the DDR4 memory in their hands to save budget. When DDR5 prices drop or performance requirements arise, they can seamlessly switch to a new generation of memory without replacing the motherboard.
In terms of memory specifications, DDR4 memory supports up to DDR4-3800 specifications and a maximum capacity of 64GB; DDR5 memory supports up to DDR5-4800 and a maximum capacity of 96GB. The two types of memory cannot be mixed and used at the same time.
It can only be said that ASRock is indeed the king of monster boards. There may not be many manufacturers willing to make this kind of DDR4 and DDR5 mixed motherboard. Unfortunately, AMD Ryzen 7000 and 9000 no longer support DDR4, and even ASRock can't do anything about it.
