Zorin OS officially announced that the downloads of Zorin OS 18 have doubled again, reaching 2 million times, of which 75% of the downloads came from Windows users.With the end of support for Windows 10, many users were unable to upgrade to Windows 11 due to hardware limitations and had to find alternatives. Zorin OS is a Linux distribution developed by Zorin Group, which has always positioned itself as one of the easiest-to-use Linux distributions.
In October 2025, on the day when Windows 10 stopped supporting, the Zorin team accurately launched the new Zorin OS 18, providing a perfect alternative for old PCs that cannot upgrade to Win 11.
This strategy proved to be an unprecedented success, with downloads exceeding 100,000 within days of launch, and by November this number had grown tenfold to 1 million, and now to 2 million.
