KIOXIA Singapore announced the launch of the EXCERIA PRO G2 SDXC UHS-II memory card series, focusing on 8K video recording and high-speed continuous shooting applications. This series covers two video speed grade products: V90 and V60, which are respectively targeted at professional users who pursue ultimate performance and advanced users who seek a balance between speed and cost.

Among them, the EXCERIA PRO G2 SDXC UHS-II V90 model is mainly used in professional photography, film and television production, and content creation, and supports 8K video recording and high frame rate continuous shooting. The card has a maximum capacity of 512 GB, sequential read speeds of up to 310 MB/s, and sequential write speeds of up to 300 MB/s, providing ample space and high-speed data writing capabilities for high-end 8K photo or video creation. With UHS-II specifications, this series of products can also significantly speed up the workflow during material copyback and post-editing.


The more user-friendly EXCERIA PRO G2 SDXC UHS-II V60 emphasizes the balance between performance and price. This model offers sequential read speeds of up to 300 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 250 MB/s, with capacities ranging from 128 GB to 512 GB. Officials point to its main application scenarios as wildlife photography, daily video blog creation, and general video production. Users who have certain requirements for sustained writing speed and capacity but have more limited budgets.
