Among the people who are most concerned about "Trump Phone", apart from Trump Phone's own team, they are probably the editorial team of the technology media The Verge. They consult with relevant personnel every week about the progress. To their surprise, they actually responded this time, and there was even an opportunity for an interview.

In a live interview, Eric Thomas, one of the other two executives, showed the phone to The Verge and said that it was not the final mass-production machine, but it was very close.

Judging from the screenshots of the video, the DECO of this phone has changed from looking very similar to the iPhone Pro series to a runway shape, and the lens arrangement has also become a straight line, and the spacing is inconsistent. There is even the word "TRUMP PHONE" written on the DECO, which is completely different from the original rendering.

It can also be seen from the video that the screen of this phone is larger than before, and it seems to be closer to the 6.78-inch screen originally promised, rather than the 6.25-inch listed on the official website.

In addition, Thomas said that the T1 logo that was present in the previous renderings and this display may be removed before the official release, but the American flag and the iconic rich gold color will be retained. After all, these two are the soul of this phone.

During the interview, the two executives mentioned that this phone will use Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series chipset (usually used in mid-to-high-end models), equipped with a 5000mAh battery, 512GB of storage space, and also supports extremely advanced microSD cards, up to 1TB. But the camera specifications were not mentioned.

Thomas said that "the configuration of this phone is really on par with the top phones on the market this year" and that it can be compared with "any phone that sells for more than $1,000."

As for the price, another executive Don Hendrickson said that the price will increase due to the re-upgraded configuration. Users who previously paid $100 for "crowdfunding" will have to pay an additional $499, which is still a "preferential price." Slow users who want to buy it in the future will have to spend more money, but the final price will definitely be "less than $1,000."

Spend at least US$599 (approximately RMB 4,256) to buy a "locally produced" mobile phone in the United States with a Snapdragon 7 processor. Although I don't know how much the Trump phone will sell, at least the number of people who are willing to buy it is really overwhelming. However, things have reached this point. If you don’t buy this phone, you can’t do it. MAGAs will definitely say: “If you don’t buy it, you don’t love (the United States).”
