On February 21, local time, Jared Isaacman, Administrator of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), stated that due to technical issues,The "Artemis 2" lunar mission will conduct a rocket retracement and cancel the launch originally scheduled for March.Isaacman said the team was unable to get helium to flow through the vehicle's systems during routine system repressurization operations. This problem is similar to the malfunction characteristics that occurred in the previous "Artemis 1" mission. The aircraft is currently in a safe condition.

NASA said the potential failure may involve components at the launch tower connection or the valve system inside the aircraft, but regardless of the specific cause, the rocket will need to be withdrawn to the aircraft assembly building for maintenance, which will "no longer consider the March launch window."
On the 20th, NASA officials stated that they planned to launch the "Artemis 2" manned mission around the moon on March 6. Launch missions have been postponed many times before.
The United States announced the "Artemis" moon landing plan in 2019 and will complete the "Artemis 1" unmanned lunar flight test mission in November 2022. After the completion of the "Artemis 2" mission, NASA will also promote the "Artemis 3" manned lunar landing mission that will return American astronauts to the moon - but the lunar lander required to complete this mission is still under development. According to the plan, during the "Artemis 2" mission, which will last about 10 days, four astronauts will fly around the moon aboard the "Orion" spacecraft.
