NASA has released a new high-resolution "selfie" taken by the Orion spacecraft in space. NASA said the photo was taken during a routine inspection on the second day of the Artemis 2 mission, with the camera attached to one of the spacecraft's solar panels. The crew had a number of tasks planned for the fourth day of the mission.
At 9:10 pm Eastern Time that night, astronaut Victor Glover will manually control Orion and perform a scheduled deep space control test to test the spacecraft's response to different maneuvers in an environment far away from the earth.
In addition, the NASA flight control team also arranged a 24-hour acoustic test to help engineers more accurately grasp the noise level inside the Orion cabin.
