近日,有消费者发文称,购买肯德基鸡块被告知多要酱要收费,现买鸡块默认只送一份蘸酱。随后,“肯德基多要酱收费”话题登上热搜。 A KFC clerk informed that the company has new regulations: starting from April 20, free dipping sauces can only be given according to the amount. A portion of golden chicken nuggets can only be delivered with a free box of sweet and sour sauce or sweet and spicy sauce weighing 20 grams.
If customers want more sauce, the newly released round boxes of sweet and sour sauce and sweet and spicy sauce will cost extra, at 1.2 yuan per box, and the weight is 10 grams more than the free sauce box. The sauce charging initiative is mainly to avoid food waste.

In response, Yum China officially responded that starting from April 20, sweet and sour sauce and sweet and spicy sauce in KFC restaurants nationwide will be changed to paid products. In addition to the normal pairings (one portion of French fries, two packets of ketchup, one portion of golden chicken nuggets, and one box of sweet and sour sauce), sweet and sour sauce and sweet and spicy sauce are no longer provided for free.
Yum China stated that if customers only have a small amount of additional demand, they can still provide it as appropriate based on the actual situation, but if the demand is larger, it is recommended to purchase separately according to the company's standards.
