Consider that last week’s massive leaks have revealed everything, including the device’s official specs and renders. The Galaxy S24 series can be considered officially released. Perhaps the only thing missing is the price tag, but that will happen sooner or later. Today we saw a physical image of the camera module used in the Galaxy S24 Ultra, and even though it's the same as last year, it's impressive.
Samsung has made a habit of reusing camera sensors from previous generations of its flagship phones, and while that may be unpleasant to some, when you actually get a chance to use it, you'll find that the cameras are still excellent.
Galaxy S24 Ultra uses the same sensor as Galaxy S23 Ultra, but some improvements have been made this time. Judging from the size of the camera module, it's certainly impossible to tell what the actual photos taken will look like. Galaxy S24 Ultra will use a lot of software optimization and artificial intelligence technology, and this sensor will be more sophisticated than the previous generation.
This phone will use a 24-megapixel image sensor by default. In addition, Samsung also mentioned the phone’s four-fold telephoto optical zoom function, which can reach up to 10 times with the help of software.
The Samsung Galaxy S24 family will be officially launched on January 17, 2024.
