Recently, a concept video about Apple's first foldable screen iPhone was exposed, once again pushing this long-rumored new phone into the spotlight. It is reported that this new folding screen machine is expected to be named iPhone Ultra. In the past period, it has appeared in various leaks through CAD renderings and prototype hands-on videos many times, and this latest video further refines its appearance design details.

The video, posted by YouTuber Jon Prosser's channel Front Page Tech, shows off what it says is the latest render of the iPhone Ultra. As you can see from the video, this folding screen iPhone currently only comes in two colors: white and black. There are reports that these will be the only two color options provided by Apple in the launch stage.
In terms of imaging, renderings show that the folding screen iPhone uses a dual rear camera solution and is equipped with an LED flash. The entire camera module is placed on a camera platform similar to the "iPhone Air style", forming a certain height gap with the back panel of the fuselage, which enhances the visual layering of the back cover.

The screen and structural design are another highlight of this revelation. There are rumors that this folding screen iPhone will use a wider screen aspect ratio than most Android folding screen phones, and the unfolded display ratio will be closer to a traditional candy bar machine to improve daily use and application compatibility experience. Its inner screen uses a flexible display panel, and it is reported that the screen crease is almost imperceptible, which is largely due to a set of folding hinge structures that are described as “over-engineered”.
In terms of body thickness, the new video also emphasizes the slim characteristics of the phone. It is said that the iPhone Ultra is only 4.5 mm thick when unfolded, which is even thinner than the current iPhone Air, which is about 5.6 mm thick, making it expected to be one of the thinnest models in Apple’s product line.
In terms of configuration specifications, the current leaked information also gives a clearer direction. It is reported that this folding screen iPhone will be equipped with Apple’s self-developed C2 baseband and A20 Pro chip, and will be equipped with 12GB of running memory. It will also support the dedicated camera control button (Camera Control button) that Apple has recently started to promote.
In terms of release timing, the latest rumors say that Apple plans to release the foldable iPhone Ultra in September this year simultaneously with the iPhone 18 Pro series. There have been previous reports that tried to deny the so-called "project delay", emphasizing that this new folding screen product is still progressing according to the original schedule, and the overall rhythm is consistent with the new generation iPhone flagship.
