Recently, a Xiaomi car owner posted a video showing that Guangzhou Holley College banned Xiaomi cars from entering the campus, triggering heated discussions among netizens. At 11 o'clock in the evening on June 28, Lin Hai, assistant to the principal of the college, was interviewed by Metropolis Live Reporter and responded again.

At 12 noon on June 28, City Live reporters called the Security Office of Guangzhou Zengcheng Campus of Guangzhou Holley College. A security guard responded: The school has explicitly banned Xiaomi cars from entering the school since last year, and this rule is notified and implemented by the school leaders. Other foreign vehicles can enter as long as they make an appointment in advance, but Xiaomi cars are not allowed.
As for why there is such a regulation, the security guard said that he did not know. They were just persuading foreign Xiaomi vehicles to leave according to the regulations of their superiors.

At 23:00 on the evening of June 28, Lin Hai, assistant to the principal of Guangzhou Holley College, told reporters on the scene that the previous remarks made by the security guard were not true. The school has never set restrictions on the entry of any brand of vehicles and will investigate the security guard.

According to Lin Hai, assistant to the principal, there is a large amount of traffic on campus. According to the campus vehicle management regulations, all external vehicles must enter the campus with a code and report in advance. This regulation has nothing to do with the vehicle brand.

The school also provided reporters with surveillance videos of Xiaomi cars entering and exiting the campus in recent days. He said that the Xiaomi cars in the video all belong to school teachers, and Xiaomi cars outside the school can also be entered after registration. "The entry and exit records are clear. We can allow faculty and staff's cars to enter, so why not allow Xiaomi cars outside the school to enter?" Lin Hai told reporters.

Due to the heavy traffic of vehicles in recent days, the school is still investigating the situation of Xiaomi cars parked on campus one by one.
At 11:30 pm on June 28, Guangzhou Holley College issued a statement on the matter.
