Meta recently announced the launch of its latest artificial intelligence model, aiming to compete with the industry's leading models in the field of code generation. The Muse Spark 1.1 model released by Meta this time is regarded as a major upgrade of the first-generation product in the series, which significantly improves code processing capabilities and has been opened to public API preview for US developers.

According to Meta's official description, Muse Spark 1.1 has been fully optimized based on developer feedback. It not only has more powerful complex program error detection and repair capabilities, but also achieves in-depth support for end-to-end agent workflows in various applications, including multi-agent systems. Additionally, the model introduces native multimodal perception capabilities across images, videos, and documents.
This release aims to accelerate Meta's catching up in the field of artificial intelligence and narrow the gap in technical strength with companies such as OpenAI, Google and Anthropic. In addition to the API preview, users can also use the model through the "Thinking mode" of the Meta AI application and official website from now on.
Meta also provides a free credit worth $20 for each new developer who registers for the Meta Model API. It is worth noting that the Muse Spark series was previously mainly integrated into Meta AI conversational robots and has been widely used in product ecosystems such as Instagram, WhatsApp, and Meta smart glasses.
