Modular computer manufacturer Framework recently publicly demonstrated its first Mini-PC qualification test platform for the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor. This processor was first unveiled at Computex (Taipei International Computer Show) this year. As an important upgraded version of Ryzen AI Max+ 395, its biggest highlight is that it increases the unified memory support capacity to 192 GB, a 50% increase compared to the 128 GB of the previous generation product.
This significant improvement enables the platform to directly run very large AI models with up to 300 billion parameters, or to efficiently handle multiple concurrent agent AI workflows at the same time.

According to the information confirmed by the Insyde UEFI boot interface of the test platform, the specific processor model of the test machine is "AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 with Radeon 8065S" and is equipped with 192 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 high-speed memory. Among them, the Radeon 8065S core display has been slightly fine-tuned compared to the previous generation 8060S, mainly increasing the engine frequency.
AMD plans to officially release the Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 400 series processors later this year. This series will be mainly targeted at the AI development and reasoning platform market. Its core advantage over the Ryzen AI Max 300 series is its support for 192 GB large-capacity memory. In addition, AMD has fully standardized the PRO enterprise-class feature set across the series, providing devices with remote management capabilities similar to Intel vPro.
