Colorful's new M1524 notebook has appeared on the Geekbench website before it was released. The highlight is that it is equipped with Intel's upcoming Core i5-14450HX processor.According to the results page of GeekBench5, the Core i5-14450HX processor is designed with 6 large cores + 4 small cores. The core frequency is 4.8GHz, which is 0.2GHz higher than the Core i5-13450HX. The specifications are the lowest among the entire 14th generation Core HX family.

According to the benchmark test results, the Core i5-14450HX processor has a single-core score of 1776 and a multi-core score of 11026. Although the frequency is higher, it is not much better than the previous generation’s multi-core score of 11180 points. It is only almost the same. Compared with the previous generation’s single-core score of 1748 points, it is slightly better.

This may be still under internal testing, and there is still room for optimization in terms of performance release.

According to Intel’s plan, the 14th generation Core HX series will launch at least 5 versions, namely:

Core i9-14900HX, 24 cores (8P+16E)/32 threads, maximum frequency 5.8GHz, 32 GPU cores;

Core i7-14700HX, 20 cores (8P+12E)/28 threads, maximum frequency 5.4GHz, 32 GPU cores;

Core i7-14650HX, 16 cores (8P+8E)/24 threads, maximum frequency 5.1GHz, 32 GPU cores;

Core i7-14500HX, 14 cores (6P+8E)/20 threads, maximum frequency 4.9GHz, 16 GPU cores (GPU to be determined);

Core i7-14450HX, 10 cores (6P+4E)/16 threads, maximum frequency 4.8GHz, 16 GPU cores (GPU to be determined).
