According to the latest report from TechInsights, Huawei mobile phones will usher in a big explosion in 2024, and the co-effect of this is that Hongmeng system will surpass iOS in the Chinese market.Huawei HarmonyOS is expected to reach its next milestone in 2024, when a revised version of HarmonyOSNEXT that is not compatible with Android will be put into commercial operation.
The report also states that Huawei has been suffering from tight supply of Kirin 9000sS chipsets, but this restriction may be eased in the coming months.
Under this circumstance, it is believed that Huawei will make a solid recovery in 2024 and reshuffle the Chinese smartphone operating system market to capture the shares of Apple and Android manufacturers.
It is reported that Hongmeng’s next version, HarmonyOSNEXT, will be released in January, when Hongmeng’s native applications will be fully launched. Yu Chengdong said that Hongmeng native applications will bring a historic leap in the mobile application ecosystem, making it smoother, smarter, and safer.
For Huawei mobile phones, statistical reports also show that it has shaken the share of Apple's high-end mobile phones in the Chinese market, and the Mate60 series has established a market share of more than 5,000+.
