[Freight and passenger flows hit new highs, and exchanges between APEC member economies at Shenzhen Airport Port increased.] September 19th, this year is the "APEC Year of China". As of early September this year, the Shenzhen Airport Port's import and export cargo volume to other APEC member economies and foreign passenger flow from APEC member economies both hit a record high for the same period in history. In the first eight months of this year, the import and export cargo volume of Shenzhen Airport Port to other APEC member economies reached 450,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 6.3%. As of early September, the Shenzhen Airport Port had received more than 1 million inbound and outbound foreign passengers from APEC member economies this year, a year-on-year increase of 31.1%, both hitting a record high for the same period in history.
