The 2026 World Cleanup Day global home event opened on the same day at the Shaoxing International Convention and Exhibition Center in Zhejiang. The event, with the theme of "From Disc Action to Clean City", was hosted by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Zhejiang Provincial Government, the United Nations Human Settlements Programme, and hosted by the Shaoxing Municipal Government.
