[Solidigm plans to go public, SK Hynix’s valuation faces reconstruction] September 28th, investors are re-evaluating SK Hynix’s stock price because its U.S. subsidiary Solidigm may go public, which may lead to a reconstruction of SK Hynix’s valuation. Sources said Solidigm is considering an IPO in the U.S. market as early as next year and plans to raise about $15 billion. According to the Korean Corporate Governance Forum, a non-profit organization, Solidigm's IPO will further complicate the ownership hierarchy within the SK Hynix Group and deepen the pyramid-like ownership structure. The agency had urged SK Hynix in August to abandon its listing of Solidigm.
