[Multiple explosions occurred near an oil tanker while sailing in the waters of southwestern Yemen] On October 5, the British Maritime Trade Operations Office (UKMTO) issued a report stating that an oil tanker was sailing in waters about 60 nautical miles south of the Red Sea port city of Muha in Taiz Province in southwestern Yemen. Multiple explosions were discovered near the ship. UKMTO said the crew was safe and no environmental impact had been reported. Relevant departments are investigating the incident. UKMTO also reminds passing ships to sail with caution and report any suspicious activity.
