[JPMorgan Chase: The global wafer manufacturing equipment market size may increase by 38% in 2027] On October 14th, JP Morgan Chase released a research report on October 12th, predicting that the global wafer manufacturing equipment (WFE) market size will reach US$225 billion in 2027, a year-on-year increase of 38%, higher than the expected growth rate of 31% in 2026; it will further expand to US$263 billion in 2028. Advanced process wafer foundry and DRAM will become the main growth drivers. The bank also predicts that TSMC’s capital expenditures will reach US$100 billion in 2028.
