[JPMorgan Chase: Customized AI chip shipments may account for more than GPUs in 2027] On October 14th, JPMorgan Chase released a research report on the 12th predicting that as large cloud vendors expand their self-developed chip plans, the proportion of custom AI accelerators (ASIC/XPU) in global AI accelerator shipments will increase from 32% in 2025 to 56% in 2027, surpassing traditional GPUs for the first time. The bank predicts that global AI accelerator shipments will reach 26.4 million units in 2027, of which Google TPU shipments are expected to reach 9.5 million units.
