[Unisoc Group’s subsidiary company changed its name to Unisoc SanDisk Storage Technology Co., Ltd.] On October 23, Qichacha showed that recently, Unisoc Western Digital Co., Ltd. has undergone industrial and commercial changes, and the company name has been changed to "Unisociety SanDisk Storage Technology Co., Ltd." According to Qichacha, the company was established in March 2016 with Zhang Lei as its legal representative and a registered capital of US$129 million. It mainly engages in products and solutions such as enterprise-level and consumer-level disk storage, solid-state storage and automotive-grade memory chips. It is currently jointly held by Unisplendour and Sandisk Corporation.
