[Russia adds seven British military industry executives to entry ban list] On October 28, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement announcing the imposition of sanctions on seven British military industry executives in the fields of long-range missile research and development, drone manufacturing and military technology, banning them from entering Russia. The Russian Foreign Ministry stated that this move was in response to Britain’s continued provision of weapons, equipment and military technology to Ukraine. Russia believes that relevant British military-industrial enterprises are involved in providing long-range strike weapons and related technologies to Ukraine, posing a threat to Russia's security. The Russian Foreign Ministry criticized the British government's continued increase in military support for Ukraine, believing that relevant policies have aggravated regional tensions and enabled British military-industrial enterprises to gain economic benefits from them. The Russian side also stated that the British government should pay more attention to the financial needs in the domestic economic and social fields. The Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized that it will continue to expand the list of sanctions against British personnel based on the relevant actions of the British side. (CCTV News)
