[Iran’s Foreign Minister: Still negotiating with the mediators on the plan to reopen the Strait of Hormuz] On October 29, Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi stated on the 28th that Iran has not given up on diplomatic channels and is discussing with the mediators how to implement the "seven-day plan" to open the Strait of Hormuz in a shorter time. Araghchi wrote on social media: "While our heroic armed forces are fully prepared to defend the motherland, Iran is still committed to giving diplomatic channels a chance to succeed. We are maintaining close and continuous communication with the mediators to discuss how to ensure that our 'Seven Day Plan' can be implemented in less than a week."
