[SanDisk CEO: It is expected that data centers will account for more than 55% of the storage market share in 2027] On October 30, SanDisk Chairman and CEO David Goeckeler said in a conference call for the first fiscal quarter of fiscal year 2027 on Thursday (ET) that the data center business has grown from about 20% of the industry's total ten years ago to nearly half today. Looking to the future, it is expected that data centers will occupy more than 55% of the market share in 2027, and bidding demand will increase by approximately 40% year-on-year. Goeckeler even boldly predicted: "By the end of this decade, key-value cache (KV Cache) will account for about one-third of the artificial intelligence data center flash memory market, and the market size of artificial intelligence data centers will be close to today's NAND flash memory market."
