At the opening ceremony of the 2026 Greater Bay Area Science Forum held on November 1st, the China Institute of Scientific and Technological Information released the "Disruptive Technology Foresight 2026" report, selecting 40 technologies with significant recent breakthroughs. These 40 technologies involve five major fields: artificial intelligence, new generation information technology, life and health, new energy, new materials and advanced manufacturing. They all have the common characteristics of significant recent breakthroughs and the potential to nurture disruptive innovation directions in the future.
