[National Energy Administration: Decided to list 90 pieces of technical equipment including the "16MW floating offshore wind turbine" as the sixth batch of the first (set) major technical equipment in the energy field] On November 2, the National Energy Administration issued Announcement No. 5 of 2026, organizing the application and assessment of the sixth batch of the first (set) major technical equipment in the energy field. Based on the applications from relevant units, and after expert review and public announcement, it was decided to list 90 pieces of technical equipment such as the “16MW floating offshore wind turbine” as the sixth batch of the first (set) major technical equipment in the energy field. The development units, user units and supporting projects of the first (set) major technical equipment in the energy field enjoy the clear support policies of the "Opinions on Promoting the Demonstration and Application of the First (Set) Major Technical Equipment" (Fagai Industry [2018] No. 558) and the "National Energy Administration's Notice on Promoting the Demonstration and Application of the First (Set) Major Technical Equipment in the Energy Field" (Guonengfa Science and Technology [2018] No. 49).
