[Mogul Morgan: Global data center capacity may reach 316GW in 2030] On November 2, a Morgan Stanley research report pointed out that although power shortages, rising construction costs and tighter financing continue to restrict expansion, global data center capacity will still maintain rapid growth. The bank predicts that global data center IT capacity will increase from approximately 136 gigawatts (GW) at the end of 2026 to 316GW in 2030, an increase of approximately 180GW, with a compound annual growth rate of 23%.
