According to reports, Ferric's differentiated integrated voltage regulator (IVR) technology can reduce the circuit board area by 50% to 70%, while providing more power closer to the processor; this acquisition will enhance the advantages of ON Semiconductor's AI processor power supply solution in terms of power density, energy efficiency and transient response, thereby improving the company's product portfolio from the grid to the core. Based on this, ON Semiconductor has raised the company’s 2030 AI data center revenue target by US$500 million to more than US$3 billion.
