[NVIDIA "eyes on" old telecommunications equipment rooms and plans to build a 1 GW AI inference network] November 6th, the latest news shows that NVIDIA has submitted a written plan to the US broadband operator Brightspeed, hoping to convert some old telecommunications equipment rooms into small AI data centers to form an inference network that can cover up to 20 states in the United States. According to people familiar with the matter, Nvidia estimates that these computer rooms have a total of about 1 gigawatt of available power.
