[The Chinese delegation completed the task of participating in the 23rd Consultation Meeting on Resolution 609 of the International Telecommunication Union] November 6th, the 23rd Consultation Meeting on Resolution 609 of the International Telecommunication Union was held in Washington, DC, from November 3 to 5, 2026. Representatives from 17 countries and regions participated in the consultation and discussion. The International Telecommunication Union Resolution 609 Consultation Meeting aims to determine the power share of each country's satellite navigation system in the space station in the 1164-1215MHz frequency band through a consultation mechanism, and strictly ensure that the total power of all systems does not exceed the prescribed limit to protect the aeronautical radio navigation business in this frequency band from harmful interference. During the meeting, the Chinese delegation coordinated multilateral coordination, focused on promoting the calculation and consultation of single-input and aggregated equivalent power flux densities, and actively participated in the formulation of international standards. The Radio Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology organized the National Radio Spectrum Management Center and relevant satellite operating units to participate in this meeting.
