This project connects the energy advantages of the Northeast and the market demand of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. It is a landmark energy project that aligns with the two national strategies of comprehensive revitalization of the Northeast and coordinated development of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region. It will build a new cross-regional green energy transmission pattern and provide important support for national energy security and supply and the implementation of the "double carbon" goal. The Jingneng Daan 2×660MW thermal power peak-shaving project launched this time is a key supporting component of the "Jilin Electric Power Company's entry into Beijing" project, with a total investment of 6.036 billion yuan. It will build two 660,000-kilowatt high-efficiency ultra-supercritical peak-shaving units with a designed annual power generation of 5.28 billion kilowatt-hours.
