[Southern Sudan was attacked by armed militants, 21 civilians died] September 5th, Sudan’s non-governmental organization “Sudan Doctors Network” issued a statement on September 4th, local time, stating that multiple areas in South Kordofan State in southern Sudan were attacked by armed militants, resulting in the death of 21 civilians, including women and children, and many others injured. The statement condemned the attacks carried out by the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (North) on multiple places in Kauda city, South Kordofan State on the 3rd, which caused serious casualties among local civilians. In response, the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (North Bureau) has not yet responded. (CCTV News)
