[Slovak Prime Minister: If the EU is forced to give up Russian oil, it will continue to initiate lawsuits] November 8, Slovak Prime Minister Fizo said on the 7th that Slovakia has filed a lawsuit with the Court of Justice of the European Union to oppose the EU's import ban on Russian natural gas. If the EU further enforces the abandonment of Russian oil imports, Slovakia will continue to file a lawsuit with the EU Court of Justice. According to the ban passed by the European Union in January this year, the import of Russian liquefied natural gas will be completely banned from January 1, 2027, and the comprehensive ban on Russian pipeline natural gas will take effect in the autumn of that year. In April this year, Slovakia filed a lawsuit with the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg over this natural gas import ban. Currently, Slovakia still imports Russian natural gas through the "Turkish Stream" pipeline and Russian oil through pipelines passing through Ukraine.
