According to estimates from the Ministry of Commerce, in the first half of 2026, the scale of digital consumption by Chinese residents reached 13.3 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.1%. Many new generation digital products, such as smart walking exoskeletons and consumer-grade 3D printers, are favored by consumers. Digital services such as online micro-series and virtual reality parks increased by 7.0%, and individual payments for large models increased significantly. Digital consumption continued to play a driving role in China's consumption of goods and services in the first half of the year.
