[The most comprehensive map of the molecular effects of human gene mutations released] September 10th, according to the British "Nature" website, DeepThink, a subsidiary of Google, released the human genome map - Alpha Genome Atlas - on the 8th. The map covers the potential effects that may be caused by approximately 9 billion single nucleotide variations (changes in a single DNA letter) in the human genome, and is the most comprehensive catalog of the molecular effects of genetic mutations to date. It not only helps screen for disease-causing mutations, but also discovers key mutations that have been overlooked in rare disease research, opening up new avenues for precision medicine.
