The latest data shows that the monthly sales of new energy vehicles have reached a new high. In August, the production and sales of new energy vehicles were 1.653 million and 1.643 million respectively, a year-on-year increase of 18.9% and 17.8% respectively. The sales of new energy vehicles accounted for 60.6% of the total sales of new automobiles. In terms of exports, in August, China exported 1.01 million vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 65.3%, and monthly export volume exceeded 1 million vehicles for three consecutive months. Among them, 526,000 new energy vehicles were exported, a year-on-year increase of 1.3 times. In terms of export structure, new energy vehicle exports have accounted for more than 50% of all vehicle exports for three consecutive months. Chen Shihua, deputy secretary-general of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, said that the proportion of new energy vehicle exports has exceeded 50% for three consecutive months, which means that for every two vehicles exported, one is a new energy vehicle.
