[Yemen’s Houthi armed forces say fighting on the west coast of the Red Sea has stopped] On September 11, the Supreme Political Committee of the Yemeni Houthi armed forces issued a statement saying that fighting in various provinces on the west coast of the Red Sea has stopped, and claimed that “the armed forces previously mobilized by Saudi Arabia to threaten relevant areas in Yemen have been expelled.” The statement called on all parties to put pressure on Saudi Arabia, stop sending additional armed forces and armed personnel to sensitive areas such as the west coast of the Red Sea, avoid escalating the situation in relevant areas, and maintain local navigation safety.
