[Norwegian oil and gas exploration tender attracted bids from 21 companies, including Shell] September 11th: Norway’s Ministry of Energy said on Friday that it had received applications from 21 oil and gas companies hoping to obtain exploration blocks in the government’s annual Mature Areas (APA) licensing round. The application list shows that compared with last year's APA round, the number of participating companies has increased by one, as Shell re-joined after being absent from the 2025 round.
