today,Meituan’s anti-fatigue mechanism for riders has been launched in major cities across the country. The notification received by Meituan riders shows that if the order is run for more than 8 hours, they will receive a reminder, and then there will be a reminder every hour; if the order is run for 12 hours, they will be forced to go offline.
It is understood that, based on the anti-fatigue pilots in Sichuan, Guangxi, Zhejiang and other regions, starting in November this year, Meituan launched a new round of pilots in East China.
Compared with before,This pilot has added a new strategy of "you will receive a reminder if you run an order for more than 8 hours, and you will be forced to go offline if you run an order for 12 hours."
According to data released by Meituan, during the pilot period, the average daily running time of normal riders in the four provinces and cities was 5-6 hours. Only 0.18% of riders who triggered the rest clause through continuous running were only extreme cases. 99.82% of normal riders were not affected.
From the data and feedback,This anti-fatigue strategy does not affect the income earned by normal riders from running orders. At the same time, it can also prevent the extreme continuous running behavior of a very small number of riders.
