According to official measurements,20 minutes after the food is put into the box, the temperature of the heated lunch box is still maintained at 70°C, which is a full 20°C higher than that of ordinary lunch boxes.
Even during ultra-long-distance delivery of more than 60 minutes, the temperature of the meal box can still be maintained above 55°C.
JD.com said that starting from November 7, the first batch of heated meal boxes have undergone multiple rounds of safety tests and have been put into use in Qixian Kitchen in Beijing.
It will gradually cover cities in cold areas in the next month, and soon everyone will be able to see the real-time meal box temperature on the order delivery page.
