Abstract:
American pilot Benjamin McDaniel flew the plane for about 8 hours and 8 minutes, and drew a giant painting with the theme of "GTA6" on the flight tracking map. The trail art was created over Arkansas and includes game logos, helicopters, palm trees, alligators, sports cars and a female figure holding a weapon.
McDaniel carried out this creation under the name "Pilot Picasso" and used a Cessna aircraft R182 Skylane RG. The work is not presented directly through air smoke, but relies on a pre-planned route: the aircraft continuously sends position data, and the complete route is finally combined into a designed pattern on the map of the tracking service.
During the creation, viewers can view the flight process in near real-time through Flightradar24. The platform noticed that the aircraft with registration number N1810R was flying an abnormal route and also invited users to guess what the pilot ended up drawing.
McDaniel has previously used flight paths to recreate images related to "Mona Lisa", "The Scream" and "Ghostbusters" and "Lord of the Rings". Some of these flights have attracted more than one million views according to Flightradar24 data. This "GTA6" themed work was carried out by himself, and the existing information does not show that Rockstar Games participated in the organization or funding.
