"GTA6" PS5 Pro page suspected to leak PSSR and advanced light tracing support

📅 2026-11-04

Abstract:

The French PlayStation official website may have shown the PS5 Pro enhancement details of "GTA6" in advance. The page briefly mentioned PSSR and more advanced ray tracing, but the relevant text subsequently disappeared, and it has not been confirmed whether the two technologies will be used in the final version.

Reddit users said that the page mentioned PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution, Sony’s artificial intelligence image scaling technology for 4K displays. The page also states that advanced ray tracing will improve reflections, shadows and lighting, but does not give an image quality mode, output resolution, frame rate target or specific performance configuration.

The leaked clip also contains the expression "Atsushi's Katana" that has nothing to do with "GTA6". The content clearly points to "The Soul of Mount Yotei", which may be due to a page template copy error. Therefore, the authenticity and final wording of the PSSR and advanced ray tracing descriptions are in question.

France PlayStation still labels "GTA6" as "PS5 Pro Enhanced". The special optimization itself has been determined, but the specific enhancement content has not yet been officially listed. Sony and Rockstar also previously stated that the PS5 version will utilize DualSense, fast SSD and Tempest 3D audio. According to reports, the game is scheduled to be released on PS5 and PS5 Pro on November 19, 2026.
