"We have recently discovered that bad actors are using common information-stealing malware to steal Claude login sessions from users' computers and then use these login sessions to access Claude accounts and steal their usage data," Anthropic said in an email to affected users.
Foreign media said that the company is logging out affected users from Claude accounts, deleting saved payment methods, and refunding fees that it determines are unauthorized.
Anthropic urges affected users to take basic security measures, including changing credentials, revoking other sessions, and removing the malware from their computers.
