Apple becomes the first brand to be honored by the Creative Hall of Fame

Abstract:

After 65 years of recognizing individual creative achievements, the creative industry organization "One Creative Club" announced the establishment of the Brand Hall of Fame and selected Apple as the first brand to be inducted in recognition of its long-term excellence in marketing, design and brand communication.

Apple co-founder Steve Jobs was inducted into the organization's Creative Hall of Fame after his death in 2012. Since then, marketing programs launched by Apple and its long-term partner TBWA Media Arts Lab have received multiple recognitions, including Pencil Awards in 2017 and 2026.

This commendation is aimed at Apple's overall brand, recognizing its approximately 50 years of innovation in design, brand building and communication. The agency singled out Apple's 1984 Macintosh ad, its "Think Different" ads from the 1990s, and its "I'm a Mac" series of ads in the early 2000s.

Apple CEO Tim Cook said it is a great honor to join the Creativity Hall of Fame because imagination runs through everything Apple does and drives the company's innovation, design and daily operations, helping people around the world create extraordinary results. He also said that Apple is honored to be recognized by this organization that has long supported creative talents and outstanding works.

The award ceremony will be held at Capitale, New York, on September 16, 2026. The event will be a formal dinner with a minimum admission fee of US$1,250. Proceeds from the dinner will support the Creative Hall of Fame, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting outstanding creative work around the world.

Although Apple becomes the first brand to be selected, this event will still recognize individual creative achievements, and creatives from companies such as Levi’s, Nike and Mastercard will also be selected.

This honor continues Apple's long history of recognition in advertising and marketing. In April 2026, Apple also won Network Emmy Awards for its Apple Pay project and Apple TV sports content produced around football player Lionel Messi.
