Abstract:
"Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4" received good early reviews on Steam after its release. As of the time of writing the original article, this work has received 2,655 user reviews, with a favorable rate of 91%, and the overall evaluation is "particularly favorable". According to the data listed in the original article, this is also the highest rating the "Call of Duty" series has achieved on Steam in more than ten years.
The positive start of this game mainly comes from the campaign mode. Players and reviewers gave the campaign more positive reviews, in contrast to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's campaign, which was considered one of the series' poorer performers.
The Steam positive rating listed in the original text shows that "Call of Duty: Black Ops 7" is 36%, "Call of Duty: Black Ops 6" is 44%, and "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3" is 48%. The current performance of "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4" is higher than that of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3", which is loved by many players.
However, the current rating only corresponds to the campaign experience and cannot yet represent the complete game reputation after other content is released. As the number of reviews continues to increase, it remains to be seen whether the 91% positive rating can be maintained.
