Enthusiasts are cracking the PS5 to run "Pokémon: Pokopia", but the screen still has serious errors

Abstract:

Console modding enthusiasts are already running "Pokémon: Pokopia" on a cracked PlayStation 5. This experiment requires loading Ubuntu 24.04 into the host memory first, and then starting the game through a third-party environment. It does not run directly using the PS5 native system.

Aficionados are running

Public videos show that DualSense can control character movement and interaction with the environment, and physical effects, interfaces and text dialogues can also work. However, due to the lack of compiled shaders and textures, the graphics pipeline is still severely buggy, with Pokémon, trees, and other scene objects mostly appearing as black outlines.

Centro LEAKS community members believe that native transplantation may appear soon, but this is only a third-party expectation, and there is no completed result yet. At the same time, developer Bushigan said that ProsperoEden for cracked PS5 is about to receive a major update. This project is a native adaptation of the Eden emulator, which does not require an intermediate operating system. The developer said that the new version will support the Switch 2 project.

The display interface includes "The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom", "Super Mario Bros. Surprise", "Super Mario 3D Collection", as well as a directory containing the files of "Mario Kart World", and also provides options such as Vulkan asynchronous shaders. However, the presence of game files in the interface does not mean that these works are running stably, and related warehouses and communities are also at risk of being removed from the shelves.
