How to upgrade the Zunjie V800 brake pedal? Official customer service response: The specific plan is expected to be confirmed by the end of October

📅 2026-10-10

Abstract:

Dongchedi released a professional actual test video on October 8. The test team simultaneously selected three Zunjie V800s to carry out emergency braking related project verification. During the process, the vehicle's brake pedal bracket was stepped on under the full emergency braking condition from 100km/h to 0. After the release of the relevant actual test content, it immediately triggered a large-scale public discussion on the entire network.

After the incident, Zunjie officials immediately issued an official statement regarding the breakage of the brake pedal bracket that occurred in the online test, making it clear that the brand would further optimize the structural design of the component. All Zunjie V800 users who have completed delivery can enjoy free upgrades and replacements with new parts without any additional costs.

However, after the statement was issued, reporters from many media visited a number of Zunjie brand offline stores in different cities in China to learn more about the specific implementation details of the free upgrade. They found that staff in different stores did not explain the upgrade policy in the same way. Many users were concerned about door-to-door pickup and delivery, working time deductions and other supporting welfare information that did not form a unified standard.

In response to the current confusing problem of inconsistent terminal store calibers, Zunjie’s official customer service has given a clear and unified answer. All vehicles that are still on the production line and have not been delivered or shipped will be directly assembled with a new optimized and upgraded brake pedal bracket when they roll off the production line to avoid similar problems from the source.

Customer service also added that vehicles that have been shipped but have not yet been handed over to users, as well as vehicles that have been officially delivered to car owners, will be uniformly arranged to return to brand-authorized stores to complete component upgrades. All details of the entire upgrade plan are expected to be officially confirmed by the end of October (will be launched in November), and will be pushed to all relevant users as soon as possible.

It is worth mentioning that when a reporter asked "if the owner of the picked up car can choose not to upgrade", the customer service always gave the same reply: "This is something you can choose" and "I won't say it is necessary" - This means that if the owner of the picked up car has not paid attention to the relevant news and has not actively applied, the vehicle will continue to use the original pedal design.
