iPhone Duo is said to be adding a lock screen focus mode switch that can be quickly turned off and on again without leaving the lock screen

Abstract:

Code researcher pdfu revealed that Apple’s upcoming folding screen phone iPhone Duo will adjust the focus mode control method on the lock screen. After enabling a focus mode, a new button will appear above the control area at the bottom of the lock screen, allowing users to turn off the current mode without leaving the lock screen and turn it back on when needed.

The focus mode currently in use will also be displayed in the status bar above the clock, allowing users to check whether the device is in do not disturb, work or personal mode. According to the existing iPhone operation method, users usually need to long press the focus mode icon on the lock screen, or open the control center to switch; the new button places the switch of the current mode directly on the lock screen interface. Reports don't suggest it can switch to another focus mode directly on the lock screen.

The iPhone Duo adopts a dual-screen folding design. Apple has previously stated that iOS 27 will adjust the interface in real time as the device folds, expands, and switches between internal and external screens. The lock screen controls are also rearranged for the new phone. However, the specific function of this focus mode switch comes from the findings of code researchers, and Apple has not announced relevant details separately; there is currently no information that it will be provided to other iPhone models simultaneously.
